I am 73 years old and have been a Republican all my life. Yet, I have not voted for a single Republican in Naional Elections since Ronald Regan was in office. I am so upset that my GOP has been highjacked by the far right wing of my party and the Religious Fundamentalist who scare to death! On the other hand, I can not bring myself to change my affiliation to Democrate and it does no good to join any other party since they are frozen out of the process by the two parties already mentioned. Further more, I am completely turned off by the vicious negative ads of both parties. What happened to good old fashioned debates on issues without resorting to character assaignation?
We desperately need people running for office who truly have the citizens of this country at heart. Not that bunch whose only inerest is in their next election and devising ways of staying in office too long.
