Drudge has a link to this Washington Times article that reveals production of U.S. passports is done by foreign companies because it’s more cost-effective.
I’m glad to see our government values homeland security over saving a few bucks.

So what's easier, getting a visitor visa and overstaying it, or illegally obtaining one of these super-duper new passports in Thailand?
maybe that's what they mean by "path to citizenship".
