Mass Murder and Anti-Depressants

Is there a connection between the use of prescription anti-depressants and the recent spate of ultra-violent shootings?

There seems to be a pattern. The Columbine and Louisville killers were on anti-depressents. It was announced this morning that the Virginia Tech shooter was being treated for depression. I would bet that his treatment included prescription drugs such as Prozac or Zoloft.

The PR research department is looking into other shootings such as the Salt Lake City mall shooting and the Atlanta stock brokerage shooting.

I'll let you know what they find.

I am noticing the same thing. FNC contributor and syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer published a paper in 1968 while he was still a practicing shrink that predicted this situation of secondary mania or anti-depressant induced mania. If you read closely the mission statement of these drug manufacturers - they are in it for themselves not the welfare of the general public.
